DONALD MEINHART

Donald Joseph Meinhart, son of Leo and Margaret (Garwood) Meinhart, was born on November 27, 1927. He married Loretta Louise Flood on February 4, 1950. Loretta, a daughter of Joe and Anna (Lustig) Flood of St Rose Parish, Montrose, vas born April 6, 1930.

Donald and Loretta are the parents of seven children. William Donald, born January 29, 1951, married Karen Wagner. They are the parents of a son Ryan and reside in Midland, Midland, Michigan, USA. Wayne Allen, born April 21, 1953, married Patti Michl and has two sons, Derek and Nathan. Wayne, Patti and family live in Mattoon. Leonard Joseph, born June 30, 1954, married Debra Addis, (see Leonard Meinhart). Lloyd Leo, born September 28, 1955, married Sheila Trainor. They are the parents of two children, Kelly and Brett. Lloyd and Sheila divorced and he later married Melissa Bell. They are the parents of two sons, Connor and Matthew. Lloyd and his family live in Joliet, Will, Illinois, USA Stephen Ray, born July 10, 958, married Sharon Layton. Their children are Craig, Adam and Steffi and they currently reside in Lafayette, Tippecanoe, Indiana, USA. Marilyn Ann, born February 12, 1960, married Russell Allison in 1982. The Allisons live in Mattoon. Keith Lee, born October 7, 1968, married Denise McFarland, (see Keith Meinhart).

Donald and Loretta have 13 grandchildren. Donald's grandparents were Mike and Mary (Trapp) Meinhart and Tom and Dora (Boehl) Garwood. They were members of St Joseph's Parish. Loretta's grandparents were John and Rebecca (Mulquin) Flood and Victor and Louise (Mammoser) Lustig. Loretta is the only grandchild of the Victor Lustig family that resides at Island Grove.

Don and Loretta are retired from farming and built a new home across from their son, Keith.
